Members Who Went Said:OMG!!! We had a great time !!!!
Ashley Overall, I thought this event was okay. The event was held outdoors. The goodie bag was great. It was packed with books, drinks, female products, many samples, shampoo and conditioner, etc etc.
Tina L. We went to the event last time and really liked it, spent hours and having good time. So we decided to go back and to our surprised we were so disappointed, there wasn't much booths to look around, and the goodie bag that I got was incomplete and the guy was saying all the excuse. I was trying to exchange it since all the stuff from my friends are complete and I saw some other people's as well.. all I can say that it was really disappointing.. didn't even stay for an hour. |

During that decade the Society acquired and restored two historical properties with the help of Southampton summer resident Henry Frances DuPont, founder of the Winterthur Museum. They were the Thomas Halsey Homestead, built in 1660, and the Elias Pelletreau Shop, erected in 1686. After extensive restorations, the buildings were open to the public during the summer months with exhibits of colonial-era furnishings and tools. By the 1990's, the Rogers Mansion property had expanded to include 12 historical structures including a one-room schoolhouse, a colonial-era barn, and a 19th-century paint shop. The museum is open year-round with changing exhibits on historic topics, a research center and extensive education programs for school children and adults. |
