Set in 1939, Ron Hutchinson's clever behind-the-scenes comedy follows legendary producer David O. Selznick, director Victor Fleming, and screenwriter Ben Hecht as they attempt to rework the screenplay for Selznick's epic movie, Gone With the Wind, just as it's about to go into production. Over the course of their forced imprisonment in the producer's office, the trio subsists mostly on peanuts, as Selznick and Fleming hilariously re-enact scenes from Margaret Mitchell's classic novel while debating artistic, race and class issues relating to the script.
