Grab your pompoms or dig out that letterman jacket -- it's time for The Marvelous Wonderettes: Caps and Gowns, the sequel to the off-Broadway smash hit The Marvelous Wonderettes. The four varsity songleaders of Springfield High -- Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy and Suzy -- are enjoying their last year of high school, with hopes as high as their hair and dreams as large as their crinoline skirts. As they prepare for Missy's marriage to Mr. Lee, soak up gorgeous four-part harmony arrangements of some of the best music written in the '50s and '60s, including "River Deep -- Mountain High," "At the Hop," "Rock Around the Clock" and more than 20 other classic hits. David Hirt has been talking for entertainment and information purposes since he was a toddler. By the time he was twelve he was studying acting in a university setting and continuing to pursue his passion by ultimately receiving his degree in Theatre Arts. After spending time behind a mic in a radio station, David knew his path was that of a voice, an accent, a character.
