I thought this was a terrific piece. Based on a true incident.....of which there is no record of what really went on......one could imagine Williams and Brando speaking these lines and acting the way that they did in the play. It help your attention from word one.

90 minutes of engaging dialogue with a very solid cast anchored by Curt Bonnem's outstanding handling of the role of Tennessee Williams. No intermission, but the play moved so quickly I had no idea 90 minutes had passed and left wanting more.

My wife and I attended the first preview and loved it. We wrote lots of notes about things to improve, but the concept of the play is great and the acting is excellent. It was a big surprise to me how many laughs there were. But there were touching moments too, around love for theater and love for acting. Performance in one act, about 70 minutes.

When a young unknown actor named Marlon Brando showed up to read for the role the rest, as they say, was history. This is the untold story of the most infamous audition of them all…

Two Roads Theatre – in celebration of Tennessee Williams’s 100th birthday – proudly presents a world premiere event; Kowalski, written by Gregg Ostrin and directed & produced by Rick Shaw (It’s Just Sex).
