What an unexpected treat. As an avid, active, theatergoer...this is one of the best written plays I've seen in years. I attended not having known it had been performed on Broadway, starring Mamie Gummer (Meryl Streep's daughter...with less than stellar reviews.
Well, the lead at the Two Roads could not have been much better. What an actress!
This play was clearly written by someone with a huge imagination who can think, and write, outside the box.
Yes, I supposed if you look deeply enough there are loopholes. But just let yourself suspend reality for a while, and enjoy the experience. It was so refreshing to see a play that wasn't predictable.

Funny in a cute AND twisted way reminding us what it's like to be a kid. The theatre was intimate so it's easy to not find a bad seat. The lead actress was very entertaining as was Mr Marmalades downward spiral. I would recommend this show to theatre goers looking for something different and fun.

Well????? I liked the threater and that little area around there. It's a certain mystique around there. The restaurant next store, the Hollywood crowd hangs out there conversations of scripts, roles and jobs available are all over the place. Now, the play! Maybe I didn't get it, but it was too harsh for me. From slapping a kid, to sniffing coke, to barbie dolls banging away can you be more original? come on? I expected something more.
