A Step Beyond The Rain, a one-woman show written and performed by actress Miata Edoga, is the true story of a mother and her two daughters struggling under the weight of physical and mental illness. Encompassing themes of love, loyalty, loss and liberation, A Step Beyond The Rain explores the relationship between these three very different women, and their individual journeys toward freedom. It is at times humorous and at times heart-wrenching, but throughout it is an honest and compassionate story. Learn More

The first half drug a little, but the second half came alive. The acting was very good. It was an enjoyable evening all in all.Written on Mar 15 2010

sorry, but we thought the topic, dialogue and characters were completely insipid. and the grating, constant shreiking of the main female character sent us home screaming.Written on Mar 24 2010

Intelligent, provocative and emotionally charged, this performance was an absolute treat. The depth of every character, played by talented actors, draws in the audience of the very small and intimate Two Roads Theatre.Written on Mar 22 2010
