One-night show on Sat Dec 4 featuring Bill Cunliffe's small jaz comvbo for the first set then 13ipiece "big band" for the second set. We actually prefeered the second set as it was less free-florm + the mostly-holiday renditions were highly recognizable. The reason for a 4 + not a 5 rating has to do with the place, not the performers who were excellent. So packed in that the poor too waiter had to bump into me to get by to reach the next table + I wasn't too happy either. The other factor is cost - beware the $13.50 pp minimum as you should expect to spend at least $25 pp if you order dinner + close to that for a glass of wine, dessert + coffee. The dinner menu is very limited + the food "ok". Knowing this we ate dinner beforehand, and still spent $95 for 4 on a bottle of wine, 3 desserts + 4 coffes, + tax + tip.
