This play is very pertinent to today's problems that everyone has experienced at one time or another in their lives. The problem of being unemployed and hating where you live gives insight as to how to manage your unhappiness before it consumes you. In this play it took a long time for the couple to come to grips with their decisions which were helped along by their family. Having a loving, supportive, generous family is imperative in the final decisions of the couples life. The problem is when you're unhappy in life do something about it and don't let your unhappiness cripple your future.
