I enjoyed the show but the sound man should have turned up Steven's mike so it would be easier to hear his jokes in the balcony where I was sitting.Written on Jun 08 2009

Steven Wright was great. Some of his material is a little outdated but his songs and delivery make up for it. Tarrytown Music Hall is a cool place to see a show. They are in the process of making some improvements such as repadding the seats and expanding women's restroom facilities, which are both badly needed -- they're working very hard to keep true to the original music hall while making modern improvements, and they're doing a great job -- for now come early and don't sit in the balcony. :)Written on Jun 08 2009

It's true the microphone should have been adjusted. I was seated in the orchestra and it was sometimes difficult to hear him clearly (given that he has a tendency to somewhat mumble). It was an enjoyable show. The audience was laughing often.Written on Jun 08 2009

Decent amount of new material (at least stuff I hadn't heard before owning his last CD). No opening act, just him doing his act for about 2 hours.Written on Jun 08 2009
