Neko Case sounds better live than her recordings- a beautiful and talented singer. She has a quirky and open spirit, which I for one can appreciate. Getting to Tarrytown by train was and easy ride from Grand Central Station, and the walk up the hill and through the tiny town took us about 5 minutes tops. I'd recommend both Neko and the Tarrytown Music Hall, and would venture there again. Sit at the orchestra level- where you can hear...not the balcony where things are muffled. Calexico was ok, but went on a bit long. Joey needs to learn how to stand still- his moves were annoying.Written on Nov 15 2009
