Fine Arts Network takes you on a quirky, fun-filled journey to a struggling flower shop where a blood-thirsty plant from another world eagerly awaits its next victim. Darkly seductive, tragic and full of twisted humor, Little Shop of Horrors is a loving onstage homage to 1950s sci-fi movies. The third-longest-running show in off-Broadway history and the winner of several Best Musical awards, it was later made into a film starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin. The show's '50s and '60s Motown-style score, written by the Academy Award-winning team of Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, includes such memorable numbers as "Skid Row," "Somewhere That's Green" and "Suddenly Seymour." • Beethoven - Quintet for Piano and Winds (Opus16)
• Beethoven - Octet in Eb (Opus 103)

The first piece, the Quintet for Piano and Winds is reminiscent of Mozart, but has Beethoven’s fingerprints all over it. It ends so enthusiastically that it is difficult for the listener to remain seated.
And, the Octet in Eb for two horns, two clarinets, two oboes and two bassoons, weaves one lilting melody into another and ends with a presto movement that one car hardly resist dancing to. Beethoven will never seem the same after this concert, performed by the California Chamber Orchestra.
