This Fine Arts Network/Ballet Studio production of The Nutcracker offers all of the elements that viewers have come to love and expect of the show -- from the elegant costumes to the stirring Tchaikovsky score and the dazzling dancing -- with the addition of a unique approach to the telling of the occasionally bewildering story. By expanding on the relationship between young Clara and Drosselmeyer's apprentice (the man who becomes the Nutcracker Prince and defeats the Rat King in Clara's nightmare), this version of The Nutcracker boasts a lovely romance and a more complete story. Some of the ballet's dances have even been rearranged and are presented here in a compelling order that adds to the storytelling nature of the narrative in this award-winning production. Learn More
