Fine Arts Network takes you on a quirky, fun-filled journey to a struggling flower shop where a blood-thirsty plant from another world eagerly awaits its next victim. Darkly seductive, tragic and full of twisted humor, Little Shop of Horrors is a loving onstage homage to 1950s sci-fi movies. The third-longest-running show in off-Broadway history and the winner of several Best Musical awards, it was later made into a film starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin. The show's '50s and '60s Motown-style score, written by the Academy Award-winning team of Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, includes such memorable numbers as "Skid Row," "Somewhere That's Green" and "Suddenly Seymour." The concert was fab! Particularly enjoyed the first half with the songs from when the Beatles were first starting out. The performers were delightful...harmonizing and guitar work was right on. A fun evening.
