This Halloween, forget the tricks and treat yourself to a special screening of the 1922 silent film Nosferatu accompanied by a live orchestra. F.W. Murnau reinvents the story of Dracula as a silent German Expressionist fable, and the result is one of the greatest horror films ever made. Max Schreck is astonishingly creepy as the infamous vampire, and Murnau's frames ooze eerie atmosphere in this hugely influential tale. This performance features conductor Timothy Verville's acclaimed setting of music by Dvorak, Brahms and Wagner. Learn More

This was a very moving experience: the conductor gave a short talk about the composers and the music prior to the concert and that's so helpful to someone like myself who is illiterate in classical music! of course TCA is the most beautiful venue in the valley, inside and outside, ample free parking, lights over the water, etc. very well attended and enthusiastic audience. best deal in town!
