I had heard about the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum for years but had never attended an event. I was curious about the theater and it's outdoor setting. My friend was in town from England so I thought this event was be very unusual from other activities in LA. It was also my first experience with Goldstar. The theater is wonderful and the hills behind the stage allow for more movement in the play. The cast was fantastic and they did a fine version of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. We got there early and and hour before the show the actors in the cast sat on stage and talked about the play, the theater and their backgrounds and took questions from the audience. The Theatricum Botanicum is really a very special locale and a pleasant place to enjoy a performace. Certainly a unique experience for out of town guests and locals. A very high recommend here!

Wonderful setting. Good production and friendly staff. Well worth a visit!

Fun play for adults and children. Lovely location.
In A Midsummer Night's Dream, Shakespeare’s powerful language evokes a brilliant world of wonder, magic and romance, where confusions are resolved and all is reconciled through midsummer night revelries and faith in the power of nature.
