The play was really good; I didn't really like the singing, but nice story and well played. I would defiantly recommend this. I like this theatre and the settings. Make sure, you have worm close, very worm, and blanket, it's REALLY cold there at nights!Written on Sep 17 2007

More Information About Dracula
Description
The director writes:
"Searching for fresh ideas for the 2007 season, we found ourselves drawn to that “bible” of horror stories, “Dracula.” Yes, “Dracula.” Revisiting Bram Stoker’s familiar vampire novel, we’ve discovered something we never suspected: a “Dracula” for our time, a tale so good, so full of surprising characters, so rich in incident, so large in sweep, and so full of feeling that we’re taking a crack at a brand new adaptation.
In a departure from previous stage versions, our script for this Theatricum world premiere focuses on the letters and journals left behind by Dracula’s victims and by the few survivors able to recount those terrible events that took place a over a century ago. We think you’ll find it nothing less than epic... entirely supernatural and completely, heartbreakingly human.
Setting just the right mood for the production is an original score being composed (in Germany, no less!) by Marshall McDaniel.
And, when you see our approach to this classic study in terror, we think you’ll agree that... “Dracula” lives!"
