My husband and I enjoyed a special evening incuding a picnic at the cafe tables provided beforehand. The outdoor theater is terrific and the performance - by Equity actors - was very good.Written on Aug 31 2009
Most of the musical numbers woven into the original classic play were clever and enjoyable but meant that the performance went on until 10:30
which was about 1/2 hour too long. We definitely would like to return to THEATRICUM BOTANICUM.

Great performances in the best outdoor venue in town make for a fine evening. A couple sputters and stutters but a very enjoyable show.Written on Sep 14 2009

Moliere has written a wonderful play of human drama that is as fresh today as when it was written. The Will Geer team have added some spice, musical numbers, that warm the heart. The setting is very special, the costumes beautifully appropriate, and the acting superb.Written on Aug 17 2009
Go early, and have a picnic in the lovely gardens then enjoy a marvelous evening of joy and laughter.

A thoroughly enjoyable performance. Moliere's comedies tend to the bawdy and this is no exception. The actor playing the lead role does a great job of playing his despicable character for maximum comedic effect. The comic timing of the entire cast seemed to me to be dead on. And the male costumes ... well, I can only guess that the phallic embellishments are consistent with Moliere's original staging. Enjoy!Written on Sep 15 2009
