Washington National Opera sopranos Samantha McElhaney and Pamela Simonson raise their beautiful voices together in song in a joyous tribute to the season. They'll kick off the holidays with a variety of classical selections, plus duets and solos, all designed to get you in the mood to celebrate. Simonson's performed with the San Francisco Opera, Chicago Lyric Opera, and has been a featured soprano with the American Center of Puccini Studies, appearing in Cosi fan tutte, Die Zauberflöte, Turn of the Screw, Candide, Porgy and Bess and more. McElhaney's credits also include acclaimed turns in Porgy and Bess with the San Francisco and Washington National Operas, and she recently represented the U.S. as a cultural envoy to Egypt as part of a specially-chosen inspirational choir.
