$15.00 - $25.00*
Encore Dinner Theatre & Club welcomes legendary inventor Dr. Yoshiro NakaMats in an entertaining tell-all in which he shares his astounding life story. Having come up with his first invention at the age of 5, this creative genius is responsible for the conception of more than 3,300 inventions -- making him the most prolific inventor in the world, surpassing even Thomas Edison. His inventions have become part of our culture and include the floppy disk in 1947, the CD and DVD, the kerosene hand pump, retractable landing gear for aircraft, an aircraft automatic center of gravity adjuster that led to the development of autopilot possible, the Karaoke machine, the digital watch, the taxicab meter, music synthesizer, an automobile engine that purportedly runs on common tap water and even a sexual enhancement cream. Being shunned by his conservative Japanese culture did not discourage NakaMat's fascination for inventing and his one-man-show will enlighten and inspire.
