I've never seen John Lovitz perform live, and being a big fan, I had great expectations. John Lovitz certainly fulfilled all of my expectations. I had a great time during this show.Written on Aug 13 2009
I didn’t know that John could play the piano!
This is a must see!
I got there early to get a good seat but every seat is a good seat.
There was a 2 drink/item purchase minimum.
Food was very tasty, but not the greatest. It's just like all the other Improv comedy shows type food.

Club is unpretentious, very casual and the staff was very accommodating and affable. I cannot recommend the food, but they do not have their full menu up yet - appetizers only for now, menu is limited and the food itself? Well, not so great.Written on Jul 02 2009
I needed a laugh or two and I SURE got what I needed. Lovitz is a pro (and a damned good piano player, to boot) and the precursors to his monologue were very entertaining - great delivery, all of them, some funnier than others. Jon's schtick has always been somewhat obscene and irreverent, but that is a big part of his twisted appeal. Nice to have a new house of hilarity in town run, by chance, by one of the goofiest comics in the industry. His bagging on Bob Sagit at the end of the show was so excessive, that I got the impression that our little Jon has a man-crush on his fellow comic...(methinks thou protest too much, Jon??!)!

Over the years, I’ve been a fan of Jon Lovitz’ comedy. However, I had never seen his stand-up until now. My friend and I had a great time! Jon is still funny after all these years! The comics that opened up for him were just as funny as Jon was! This is great because over the years, I’ve been to so many comedy clubs where the comics ranged from being mediocre to truly bad. Coming here to the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club (formerly BB King’s at Universal Citywalk) was refreshing. I hope this new comedy club will be a success!Written on Jul 25 2009

Besides his other great skills, Jon Lovitz is one of the best stand up comics there is. He smoothly pushes the enevople on religon, politics, and racial issues. The other two comics were Ok.Written on Dec 17 2009
