Homegrown indie rockers The Airborne Toxic Event -- who scored a No. 1 alternative hit in 2008 with "Sometime Around Midnight" -- headline this all-ages indoor/outdoor festival, featuring music, art, vendors and of course, plenty of food trucks, at Universal City's Gibson Amphitheatre. Also performing at the evening show are Tokyo Police Club, Built to Spill and Delta Spirit, while the outside stage hosts Electric Guest, Jenny O., Vlado Artists and The Drowning Men. The Airborne Toxic Event, known for its rock and orchestral arrangements, recently released their second album All at Once, featuring the singles "Change" and "All I Ever Wanted." The band's made several noteworthy TV appearances, including on the season finale of Gossip Girl and as the musical guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Their stop at LA Weekly's LA 101 is part of a Fall world tour.

All the bands were amazing, rocking in their own right! I love Tokyo Police Club and I was blown away by The Airborne Toxic Event! This was one of the best shows I have seen in a long time! :)

The headliner for this year's LA Weekly Presents LA 101 is Los Angeles' own Airborne Toxic Event.
