They were behind on getting started, and when they did it was very loud. The band, while good, is limited to rock music. There was no food, (I can't drink without eating), so i left early to find something to eat.
I'm sure eventually they will be up and running smoother, but I was disappointed that night. OHH starting at 8pm, club valet parking only costs $3.00 (instead of $10), w/validation from the club. That really helped!

The nicest thing I can say about the event is, “It had potential”. The idea of a live band backing karaoke is good, and the venue was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, it seems that this is a very new program, and they haven’t quite worked the kinks out.Written on Jun 16 2009
We arrived promptly at 8 as the announcement said, and got to listen to the end of the sound check. The band, although quite good, was so loud I couldn’t hear my date when we yelled in each other’s ear. The Karaoke didn’t actually begin for almost an hour, and by 10pm there were still only about 10 people there. Of the few who got up to sing, it was pretty clear that they couldn’t hear themselves in the monitors as almost no one could find their key.
The last thing I need to mention is that on the club’s website they claim to have the best food in LA. I may never know if that’s true, as the kitchen is closed on Mondays, and all we could get to eat was a basket of store brand tortilla chips and jar salsa.
I think this may eventually become a much better event, but for $10 parking and $20 minimum for drinks, I was left wishing I’d waited.

IF YOU REALLY WANT THE EXPERIENCE SINGING WITH A REAL BAND THIS WAS A GOOD PLACE TO TRY. THEY DO START AROUND 9 P.M. THEY HAVE ADDED A LIGHT MENU AND DO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF VALET PARKING BECAUSE THEY VALIDATE. THE BEST PART IS BEING ABLE TO HAVE A VIDEO TAKEN OF YOUR PERFORMANCE FOR ONLY $20. SO IF YOU NEED A VIDEO TO POST THIS IS THE PLACE TO TRY.Written on Aug 04 2009
