Didn't really know much about Brian McNight or Johnny Gill before the performance. They are truly excellent entertainers, beautiful singers, and very creative artists. Brian's voice was amazing. His improvisation was top notch. He also seems like a really nice man, filled with love and appreciation in his heart. His son seemed to exhibit some similar skills. ElDebarge was a no show. I was thoroughly entertained and left in a dreamy state. Wonderful event!Written on Dec 04 2011

Brian McKnight was excellent and performed his heart out. El De Barge was a no show and there was no explanation. Johnny Gill was rude and did what pleased him. Even cussed. I will see just Brian McKnight againWritten on Dec 06 2011

Over an hour delay before the concert started, then opening act Johnny Gill was awful, screechy, questionable vocal quality + missed or faked the higher notes. NOT sensuous or sexy as he pretended to be (more like a pimp to us) + he went on WAY WAY too long, especialy considering there were still other Acts on the bill including headliner Brian McKnight who we really came to see. It was painful sitting through Gill's act but we kept thinking.he would be done so the other acts could come on. When he finally went off, there was a LONG intermission complete with offensive large-screen, blaring ads for LapBand, cleaning supplies & other products & services. Are you kidding? We waited until after 10:30; when Intermission continued without the stage set up even near readyd for the next act, we gave up + went home. We would have been better off staying home & donating the nearly $100 we spent for tickets, parking & overpriced concession beverages. This was the worst concert we have been to in a long, long time.Written on Dec 05 2011
Apologies to El Debarge & Mr. McKnight but we couldn't take any more.

Unfortunately the person I really was looking forward to seeing was El Debarge who was a NO Show! Very disappointing. When Johnny Gill came out the music and mikes sounded horrible, like a sound check was never done. It took more than half the set for them to correct the problem. His new music was great when you could understand the words and the New Edition song, Can You Stand The Rain, was the best! This was only my second time seeing Brian McKnight and I am a FAN for life! His musicians were top rate and just outstanding, love the Bass Player..he should have introduced the band. His performance was just so polished! He was the saving grace for the evening and he even sang ONE Christmas song, I would have enjoyed more!Written on Dec 05 2011
