The show was great and the lead guitarist and sax player were both amazing. My only complaints were that the sound/light engineers were right in front of us since we were in the Mezzanine section so they were pretty distracting.Written on Mar 02 2009
Also, the bright white spotlights the crew used for their special effects were pretty intense, if they could tone that down and use more of their low lighting green/purple/yellow lights it would have been a little more enjoyable.

I really enjoyed the show. The light show and music were both great! Some drawbacks, it was very hard to find the place and some of the lights were very bright. The pig at the end was very cool!Written on Mar 04 2009

Description
“The Pink Floyd Experience” pays tribute to one of the greatest and most influential bands of all time with a celebration of rock and spectacular stage craft at The Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University. Audience member’s senses will be transported back to the 1970s with the timeless music and colors in psychedelic patterns, along with giant balloons, flashing lights and the quadraphonic sounds that take the stage.
“The Pink Floyd Experience” is more than just a flawless recreation of its legendary predecessor. It is a celebration of all things that Pink Floyd and their fans have cherished for decades. The Daily Page raves “It’s like going to see an orchestra perform Mozart…The band’s performance of ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ in its entirety underlines that. Bass player Gus Beaudoin and saxophonist Jesse Molloy were standouts, but the whole band was nearly flawless.”
The two-hour concert is performed live utilizing more than $2.5 million worth of production equipment. From blinking eyes to marching hammers, to a 12-foot long pig blimp (one of Pink Floyd’s most familiar images,) that flies over the incredulous audience, the spectacle that is “The Pink Floyd Experience” is sure to captivate a wide range of fans. The group’s North American Premiere Tour, which began in 2004, has sold more than 40,000 tickets and earned almost $1.5 million at the box office. Shows in Toronto and Vancouver were sell-outs.
