Based on Ken Kesey's landmark novel -- later made into the iconic, Oscar-winning movie starring Jack Nicholson -- One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest follows Randle McMurphy, a small-time crook who fakes insanity to get out of a prison sentence. But instead of resting up at the state mental hospital, the rebellious yet charming McMurphy finds himself going toe-to-toe with the authoritarian Nurse Ratched as he attempts to stir up his fellow mental patients. The dynamics of live performance only heighten the tension between these two exquisitely drawn characters. Tough, touching and tragic, this American classic advocates poignantly for the dignity of every single person, no matter how "crazy" they might be. Learn More

Best "tribute" concert ever! "Abbey Road" gave wonderful performances as "The Beatles", and "Jumping Jack Flash" was excellent as "The Rolling Stones". The music was amazing, the energy was terrific, and it was fun listening to the two bands tease each other, The audience had a blast, singing, dancing, and laughing along with the bands. By the end of the night, it felt like we'd really seen The Beatles and The Stones in concert, and when they sang a mash-up of "Daytripper" and "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" together, it was incredible. So glad I went. Thanks, Grove Theater! And thank you, Goldstar!
The show is appropriate for all ages.
