Margaret "Molly" Brown earned her "unsinkable" nickname. Escaping from a life of poverty in the backwoods of Missouri, Molly married a prospector, entered high society in Monte Carlo, survived the sinking of the Titanic and earned the approval of the "beautiful people of Denver." Follow Molly on her adventures in this spunky musical by Richard Morris (Thoroughly Modern Millie) and Meredith Wilson (The Music Man). The musical, which ran for more than 500 performances on Broadway, contains such songs as "My Own Brass Bed" and "I Ain't Down Yet," and spawned a movie with Debbie Reynolds in the title role. The Grove Productions' version features ABC Karaoke Battle USA finalist Anne Johnston-Brown as Molly.

The performers were fine. The sound system is plain awful. We could not hear half of what of what was being said. I don't plan to see another show there until they fix or improve their sound system.Written on Apr 03 2012
