Hailed as "the best musical of this century" by Ben Brantley of The New York Times and "the funniest musical of all time" by Entertainment Weekly, The Book of Mormon won nine Tony Awards -- including Best Musical -- in its first year on Broadway. Now the national touring production is back at the Pantages for a second round of hilarity. Written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone along with Robert Lopez, the Tony-winning co-creator of Avenue Q, this musical comedy is a show that The Daily Show's Jon Stewart has called "a crowning achievement. So good it makes me angry." Learn More

The show was great! It was funny (a few 'surprises' in there), there were a couple of new songs, the sets were so well done (esp for a small theatre production), and Toto was such a cutie! (wish my dog behaved so well ...) We had a great time!

I had a great time. I always treat my daughters if they do good in school. I took them to this play and thought it would fun for them, but I was well impressed with it myself. The actors are great. I will be coming to watch there next performance.
The OBC Theater is excited to present, at The Grove Theatre, The Wizard of Oz, the spectacular musical that has captured the hearts of people all over the world. Featuring the classic songs, "Over the Rainbow," "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" and "If I only had a Brain" along with the beloved characters, Dorothy, Toto, the Cowardly Lion, Tin Man and Scarecrow, and the citizens of Munchkinland, the Emerald City and the Haunted Forest, The Wizard of Oz will have the entire family captivated as they travel down the yellow brick road for an unforgettable evening at the theater. Directed by Amanda Kalkanis with set and costumes designed by Nancy Gettinger and choreographed by Michael Milligan.
Starring Makenna Heliker (Dorothy Gale), Leslie Thompson (Wicked Witch), Bobby Rowland (Wizard of Oz), James Ellis (Scarecrow), Peter Milligan (Tinman), Ray Jaime (Lion), Jack Freedman (Uncle Henry), Kathryn Grossman (Aunt Em), Amanda Kalkanis (Glinda) and an incredibly talented and entertaining company of actors.
