There were plenty of activities for the whole family to participate in. It seemed that the local community was very involved in putting on this weekend long event. They failed to get the word out regarding marketing, but that will change if they stick with it. For me, it was wonderful to see people like Charlie Musselwhite and Coco Montoya perform. I also enjoyed listening to Jason Reeves, Big Papa and the TCB, and Flattop Tom and his Jumpcats.Written on Nov 09 2009
To be able to get free tickets to hear a legend like Charlie Musselwhite? You had to be kidding me! In fact, Charlie did a meet and greet after his show, and he signed my CD. Just a shame that more people did not attend.

A wonderful festival - the organizers did a great job at everything - except marketing. It was very sad that so few people took advantage of this great opportunity to listen to fantastic music of all varieties, view art, shop at wonderful vendors including the lovely downtown area. We had a great time.Written on Nov 09 2009

it was a great planned event, but the turnout was low... i love the idea of bringing art & music to the community for the whole family to enjoy... loved listening to the bands & there was great food as well... i also loved that they had art from the local schools as well... i was concerned that if there had been a better turnout, parking would have been ridiculous... hopefully they revamp & try again next year...Written on Nov 09 2009
