Wine enthusiasts are invited to the Bridgeport Marketplace for the 2nd Annual Santa Clarita WineFest to sample some of the best food and wine from Napa, Sonoma, Temecula and all over the world. More than 125 different brands of wine, sake, liquor and beer will be available for tasting, and for a separate fee there will also be seminars on scotch tasting, cheese and wine pairing and more, along with a post-festival reception featuring an exclusive selection of reserve wines. A variety of lifestyle and personal service vendors will be on hand, as well as local restaurants and food trucks, all amid the backdrop of great live music. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Michael Hoefflin Foundation, a nonprofit providing support for those affected by children's cancer.

I have been a satisfied member of Goldstar since 2007. This event was the first truly terrible experience I have had. The staff was disorganized and condescending. The venue and amenities described were in no way representative of the event. It was an obvious money grab. it was a mob scene, the tiny food offerings were so bad as to be non existent! The food trucks and vendors promised were woefully deficient. 4 food trucks one of which had granola bars exclusively and another of the three, ice cream sandwiches. Most disappointing. Vintners began running out of wine at 4pm and many promised varietals were not available... Even considering the proceeds benefitted a charity, i felt completely ripped off.

It was a large tent full of wine, licor, beer, chocolate, and other gourmet item vendors. Unfortunately, you couldn't buy any of the alcohol but, the experience was really nice. The perfect weather really helped. Next time they should have a few more food trucks for food options.

Goldstar was great--no problem in picking up our tickets. Not impressed with wineries represented. Hardly any food offerings included in the ticket price. There were items for sale such as jewelry and handbags, not what I was interested in! Cigar sales and cigar smoking areas were not at all appropriate for this event. They were setup in the same area as the food trucks and outdoor eating area! This was a bad situation.
