Ride shotgun right down the median strip of the "road not taken" in Becky's New Car, the pedal-to-the-metal comedy from Steven Dietz (Private Eyes). In her late 40s and more-or-less happily married, Becky Foster is answering phones at a car dealership when a millionaire pops in, hoping to pick up a few autos as gifts for his employees. This chance encounter leads to a series of sharp turns that all steer Becky toward new and poignant revelations about life, love and the meaning of happiness. Life With Father
By Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse
Directed by Jaynie Roberts
This delightful comedy set in the late 1800s centers around the unfortunate discovery that “Father” (Clarence Day, Sr.) has not been baptized and is therefore doomed. Father’s bubbly wife, Vinnie, and their four red-headed sons plot and scheme to get Father baptized and in the process restore the legitimacy of the marriage and all four births! A constant stream of maids and out-of-town visitors add to the hilarity, while in the background, the eldest son discovers the unexpected charm of females.
