Shakespeare meets steampunk as Magenta Theater Company sets Romeo & Juliet in a world inspired by Victorian technology. Gears grind and stars cross in this classic tragedy of two young lovers separated by a bitter feud between their families. When an intricate plan to unite the two goes disastrously awry, the results are as memorable as they are deeply moving. Extravagantly ornamented but precisely engineered, Shakespeare's language is the perfect complement to steampunk's richly visual style in this adaptation from director David Roberts. Learn More
