Will Rogers was the most popular multimedia star of his time. This musical biography is a tribute to Will's six seasons with the Ziegfeld Follies. Nineteen exciting production numbers recall his cowboy beginnings to his last flying adventure in Alaska with Wiley Post. Showgirls dance in and out as Will meets his wife, raises a family, performs rope tricks and entertains with his home-spun, laid back humor.

If you like Busby Berkeley movies, you will love the dancing & costumes of this recreation of a Ziegflied Follies' show mixed in with the bio & humor of Will Rogers. The singing of the leads was excellent & all seats are great.

The show was great and I learned a lot about the life of Will Rogers. The entire cast was excellent and I was very impressed with the staging and costumes as well. Parking is easy in the city lot next door, and there are dozens of nearby restaurants.

The show is really a star turn for the actor playing Will Rogers, who does a wonderful job. The show itself is a little disappointing. This must have come at the end of their careers for Cy Coleman and Comden and Green; they just didn't seem to be too inspired. Tommy Tune was all the rage in the early 90's — it must have been his production that put some oomph into the show to keep it running for 2+ years. I recommend seeing it because the lead is so good. But enjoy the show as an entertaining history lesson.
