Wine expert Paul Malagrifa will be on hand to guide guests through a sampling of the most popular wines of the 19th century, as well as several contemporary varieties, in this tasting event at Gore Place, the historic mansion in Waltham. 1809 Massachusetts Governor and U.S. Senator Christopher Gore and his wife Rebecca Amory Payne Gore's sumptuous Federal period estate included a fine wine cellar, and Malagrifa will discuss which wines were most in fashion when the couple entertained there.
