Bowling Green and San Jose State cap off the 2012 college football season by facing off in the Military Bowl. Since 2008, Washington's own bowl game has showcased some of the top talent in the game, and this year is no exception. The Bowling Green Falcons' tough defense made them one of the top teams in the Mid-American Athletic Conference this season. They'll be facing a nationally ranked opponent in No. 24 San Jose State. The 10-2 Spartans love the passing game, and QB David Fales and tight end Ryan Otten are projected as NFL Draft picks. The Military Bowl, which benefits the USO, will be televised across the nation on ESPN, but you can come out to RFK Stadium and see it in person.

Somewhat disappointing. We were required to abandon our premium seats for less desirable lower-level ones so that the crowd looked more dense. The lower level had restricted views of the field. Also, there were only 4,000 (plus or minus) in attendance although official attendance was announced at 18,245. Finally, there were frequent interruptions to play due to on-field ceremonies and commercials. I do not plan to go next year.

Awesome game! Even better since my alma mater, San Jose State U, won the game. This game gives support to the USO.

Great time but very upset that Bowl Official's closed the upper deck at halftime. It is the best place to actually watch the game from and I wasn't able to sit in the seats I paid for.

About the Ticket Supplier: DC Bowl Committee

The Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman has been held in Washington, D.C.'s historic RFK Stadium since 2008. The 2011 Military Bowl marks the fourth year that Washington, D.C. will host a post-season NCAA football game. Organized by the DC Bowl Committee, the Military Bowl serves as a premier regional event benefiting the USO. With first-rate participants and events, the Military Bowl seeks to generate broad support for the USO, positively impact the regional economy, honor the U.S. military and solidify the nation's capital as a leading college football destination.
Funds raised from the bowl help thousands of military personnel and their families through the game's partnership with the USO. Last year, the Military Bowl donated $100,000 to the organization and provided more than 5,000 game tickets for service members and their families.
