Reworking of Václav Havel's Existential Drama Audience With Music and Dance
Inspired by Czech author and playwright Václav Havel's single-act play Audience and its film adaptation, this physical theater performance and music installation explores a writer in the process of creation. Fueled by Sivan Eldar's original recorded and live music, Havel's Audience gets reworked into knots and translated into dance. Aside from the two dancer-actors, Miřenka Čechová and Jindřiska Křivánková, the rest of the characters communicate through oversized heads created by sculptor Paulina Skavova.
