Most famous as the Rolling Stones' main saxophonist for more than 40 years (that's him blowing on "Brown Sugar"), legendary horn player Bobby Keys brings his Suffering Bastards band to the Howard Theatre. Comprised of an all-star cast of renowned Nashville musicians, the Suffering Bastards' lineup includes Dan Baird (Georgia Satellites), Steve Gorman (Black Crowes), Robert Kearns (Lynyrd Skynyrd), Michael Webb (John Fogerty, Poco) and Chark Kinsolving (Mike Farris, Spoonful). Together, this versatile band of musicians effortlessly recreates spot-on renditions of hits from Keys' storied career, as well as new original compositions. And what a career Keys has had -- from playing with each of the four Beatles to the likes of Elvis, Dion, Buddy Holly, the Who, Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker and countless other rock icons.

"Livetronica" Supergroup SuckerPunch at The Howard Theatre

Full Price:

Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner of the Disco Biscuits, Jamie Shields of the New Deal, and Mike Greenfield of Lotus banded together ten years ago to form a supergroup to perform "livetronica" -- music that blends jam band elements with electronic music. SuckerPunch has popped up here and there throughout the years and they're back again this summer to play a show at The Howard Theatre. The fact that these groups are part jam band should tell you that it's essential to see them live. Anyone who has seen these musicians with their respective bands knows they kill it live and the jam will just be multiplied when you put them all together. Learn More
