The play is not about bondage or BDSM. It is about our prejudices in partnering with the opposite sex. It's basically a masked man and woman holding a conversation, with little or no action. It could have taken place just as well at a masquerade...continued

Don't be put off by the title. This is a very well written and wonderfully acted play about humanity, assumptions, and connections. If anything, it is quite sentimental.

At first the "parlor" waiting area seemed a little overdone, with its cast of sexual characters wandering by, but the main play had poignancy that humanized the whole event - as well as good acting.
