It was our first day in DC and proved to be the perfect overview for future references for the rest of the trip. It was much more than we hoped; the leader was excellent. A retired high school counselor who claimed very recent knowledge base in history, he was funny, interesting and well versed in the history of the Capitol sites and Monuments as well as good places to eat and visit later. Highly recommended; I would even pay the full price. You can't go wrong here. I am in excellent shape but there is a lot of walking between the highlights in our fair capitol. Bikes are the way to go quickly and close up.

I liked the tour and I think it is a great value. This was the second time I took the tour and I wished the tour guides were a bit more peppy and informed. Perhaps it would have been nice to provide more information and annecdotes.
