As you approach La Maison Française, leave your car with our valet parking service and stroll down our welcoming red carpet. Once inside, you will be presented with a flute that you can fill and refill with Champagnes from France’s finest Champagne houses. Savor food from the most prestigious area restaurants; then move your feet on the ballroom dance floor to live music provided by the Bob Hardwick Orchestra!

Beginning at 8:30 p.m., the ballroom dance floor will sparkle as guests dance to the incomparable sound of Bob Hardwick Orchestra, declared by People Magazine to be “the orchestra of princes and presidents”. From performances at the Château de Versailles to U.S. Presidential Inaugural balls, this eight-piece combo serves up every sound, from pop and rock to contemporary tunes — and French ballads, bien sûr!
The Silent Auction
Featuring items ranging from moderate to luxurious, this exclusive silent auction will raise funds to help support the numerous and varied activities of the French-American Cultural Foundation and La Maison Française. When you bid, you’ll not only have a chance to win marvelous items, you’ll also be helping to promote French-American cultural exchanges.
Chefs from area restaurants will offer a buffet of mouth-watering creations! Restaurants include Taberna del Alabardero, Evo Bistro, Georgetown University Hotel and Conference Center, Circle Bistro, Café Dupont, Bistro La Bonne, Neyla, Moorenko’s and Ici Urban Bistro at Sofitel Lafayette Square.
