The cruise departed within 30 min of the time on the reservation. Check in was easy and orderly. It was easy to board and find seats. The ship had a narrated tour. I thought the route was much closer to the VA side of river and it was hard to see the trees from that distance. The attendees were 97% female. So no opportunity to mingle, but everyone was pleasant and friendly.
