The cruise staff was really nice, but I was disappointed from the start. Couldn't find where the ship was located - they need signage. Upon entering the ship, about 5-10 minutes later than stated, we had to wait in a long line to get a drink. Once we reached the front of the line, we discovered they were out of hotdogs, yes hotdogs. I thought something a little more upscale would have been served; but how do you run out of hotdogs 20 minutes into the trip? Later we discovered they did have more of them, really? The best part of the "happy hour cruise" was the short, short trivia questions session, 4 questions to be exact. One of the people in my party guessed correctly and got a shot of tequila. They only played background music and we returned to the dock in less than the promised 90 minutes.

The staff were very friendly and nice. The 2 bartenders were wonderful. The cruise itself was a little boring. We just went up the river and came back down. Little commentary of what we seeing. It was a beautiful night, so we had a pleasant time.

If your tired of the same ole dates, this is a great idea. I went on first date this past saturday on the cruise and we both enjoyed it. We were able to sit out on the deck and watch the beautiful sites while getting to know each other. He was impressed that it was different than every other typical date ideas. I would definitely recommend this to couples.

I had a great relaxing time with my friend. Don't expect luxury, but if you are easy to please and don't mind a nice cruise to get away from DC Night Life, then take a boat cruise.
