When you go to an event at the Kennedy Center, make certain to see what is playing at the Millenium Stage. A free performance is offered at 6:00 every night. I saw a wonderful set of Broadway show tune sung by very talented students from Catholic University.

This was a good introduction to a new orchestra. Personally, I didn't care too much for the totally modern Chinese piano concerto composed by Chen Yi. It's a matter of musical taste - and had nothing to do with the execution of the piece by...continued

The program was enjoyable. The members of the concert were relatively young. The conductor was great !!

Celebrate the Chinese New Year at The Kennedy Center with The Qingdao Symphony Orchestra making its American debut under the baton of Maestro Yongyan Hu.
