Twins Jazz welcomes versatile vocalist Danielle Eva and her Quartet. A Pittsburgh native, Eva is a veteran of the New York scene, and won third place in the 2007 Billie Holiday Vocal Competition. Fusing groove, blues, bossa nova, and echoes of appalachian sounds, her voice is simultaneously sincere and sassy.

Fusing groove, blues, swing, and bossa, jazz vocalist and songwriter Danielle Eva serenades in shades of blue-eyed soul with a compelling sincerity and a side of sass. She began her career in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she developed her craft singing in jazz clubs and festivals, in college opera roles, and performing modern world gospel. She then spent several years in New York performing in top jazz and cabaret venues as well as festivals along the East Coast. She has been honored as a scholarship recipient of Jazz Aspen Snowmass and as a 3rd place winner of the 2007 Billie Holiday Vocal Competition. Her latest recording project, to be released in February, features drummer Lenny Robinson, pianist Federico Pena, bass player Gavin Fallow, and guitarists Lenny White and Chuck Underwood.
