Flying saucers, backstabbing bitches, muscle hunks and men in pumps populate this insane comedy send-off. It's a scorching summer in 1957 and something strange is happening in the swamps of Lizard Lick, Florida. With rumors of missing people and giant spaceships running rampant, star reporter Mattie Van Buren races down in search of her next Pulitzer with her boozehound ex-husband in tow and her arch-enemy hot on her heels to scoop her story. An off-Broadway favorite, Devil Boys From Beyond by Buddy was written by Buddy Thomas and Kenneth Elliott and won 2008 FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award for Outstanding Play.

Not for everyone. This theater company also put on the Scientology Pageant which was probably the best show I've ever seen. In comparison, this production was good. I'm glad I went and was very entertained (at loud volume) for an hour and a half. If you like over-the-top broad humor with a bunch of drag queens, you'll love this show.Written on Feb 20 2012

It was a wonderfully entertaining show. I laughed pretty much from beginning to end! The actors were amazing and so talented and the story was very funny and well-written. It is a very small theatre, black box but that was part of the fun!Written on Feb 06 2012
