Stories of the world come alive at the Newseum, where you can go behind the scenes to experience how and why news is made. Stand in the shadow of the Unabomber's cabin, touch the Berlin Wall, marvel at a comprehensive collection of Pulitzer Prize-winning photographs and hear never-told stories from the journalists and photographers who stood on the front lines of history. The high-tech museum features seven levels of galleries and exhibits, theaters, retail spaces and visitor services where you can explore electronic news, unique artifacts, photojournalism, news history and world news. And, since there's so much to see, your ticket is good for two consecutive days. Take your time and see half the first day, then return the next day to catch what you missed. Learn More

While the idea was good (who doesn't love Margaritas and a Friday night boat ride), the execution left something to be desired. First off, the boat was a step up from the African Queen. There was no luxury about it (although it was not advertised as luxury). Furthermore, too many tickets were sold and the boat was crowded which diminished the pleasure of the experience. Margaritas from a bottled mix and no lime or salt made it a very bare bones cocktail hour. This event needs to be better organized. The mad rush for pizza was every man/woman for themselves and some may not have gotten any.
This fabulous cruise down the Potomac River has it all. Professionals In The City has chartered a cruise boat that is comfortable and well stocked with $3.00 margarita specials, fresh, savory pizza and a cash bar. Come prepared to delight in the view from the river, chat with old friends, and make some new professional friends! After the cruise, Professionals In The City will host an optional reception at a nearby venue, with food and beverages at your own expense.
An optional reception at a nearby venue (food and drink at your own expense) follows the cruise.
