Written in 1978 by acclaimed human rights activist and first president of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Havel, Protest challenges us to question what we would do if forced to choose between survival and revolution. In this politically fueled play we meet a dissident returning home after imprisonment and a rebel campaigning in protest against a corrupt government. But this distinctive interpretation of the typically male-driven drama will also feature counterparts for the two leads -- two females meant to emphasize the universality of the characters. Protest, once banned from the stage but now revered, is a rallying cry to the responsibility of individuals to take action in the face of political corruption. Learn More

Everything Between Us is a world premiere co-production between Solas Nua (DC) and Tinderbox Theatre Company (Belfast). The two companies’ previous co-production, Scenes from the Big Picture (2007), was recently named one of the “Ten Best Shows Of The Decade” by The Washington Post.
David Ireland’s darkly comic play about building peace in Northern Ireland is a brilliant exploration of why it’s taken us so long to hear each other's truth.
