I liked the theatricality of the production, and the idea that an ancient story from 3200 BC still has the power to engage a modern audience. I thought the costumes and stagecraft were quite beautiful.

Plays are notoriously difficult to carve from picaresque works like the epic of Gilgamesh, a sprawling epic that follows the demigod ruler Gilgamesh and his animal counterpart Inkiddu who demonstrate together the qualities that make a good...continued

A very good show. I really enjoyed it. Great production and a strong, even cast.

Parking was impossible in that area, but it was wonderful to see the abundance of vitality in that area. As a last resort, I double parked in front of the Source and explained there are no parking spaces and they said they knew this was a huge...continued

Wonderful production of the world's first recorded narrative. The adaptation was concise, but the story was well told. The acting was fine, The live music was worth the ticket. Altogether a superb presentation of what will become a classic for...continued

I never read Gilgamesh, but knew that it was one of mankind's oldest pieces of literature. I was amazed to see how relevant some of the ancient concepts and ideas still are today. I think whoever did the translation did a good job. And it was...continued

I saw Gilgamesh tonight - i have wanted to see this every since I saw a episode of Star trek: the next generation based on this story - it is the story of a bad king, half man and half god, who meets a half man/half animal being with his same...continued

This is a world premiere of the ancient story of Gilgamesh translated into a play. Everything about this production is good. The acting is great. The choreography, set design, costumes, and music are equally good, and play as important a role...continued

Another fine production by Constellation at the Source. The acting professional, the movment to an excellent standard and well choreographed, the costumes creative and music suited every scene. This is well worth seeing, you definitely won't be...continued

Well worth seeing this ancient story brought to life. The first act was a little bit disconnected. It felt like the director was trying to do too much with the ancillary parts of the story. The second act was VERY good. Very quickly into the...continued

Beautifully staged and well acted. The live music was a show on its own.

Well done play that includes music and stylized fighting. Well done. Worth seeing. One of the volunteer ushers was very confused, but the theater is small so this wasn't much of a problem. JEH

This was a great experience. The musician was fantastic. The acting was fantastic and the stage set was great. We took our children ages 16-11 and they also enjoyed the performance. The children are still using the sign language they learned...continued

The acting was terrific, particularly by the two principle actors. The Constellation is a cozy theater so that all of the seats are great. The tale of Gilgamesh is one of the oldest in the history of humankind. It is of the journey/[pilgrimage...continued

This may be the best theater production I've ever seen. Absolutely amazing. The costumes and set, the action choreography, the script, and of course the acting were all exciting. It was a WOW.
