This cruise was a nice 2 hour diversion from the crowds and noise of downtown DC. Contrary to other reviews, they did do some narration of the sites during the cruise. We went on the last weekend in October, so the cruise was not crowded - we were able to sit on the outside deck for awhile, then sit inside the cabin to warm up. It can be really cold & windy - so dress warmly!!!
Join DC Cruises for a mesmerizing cruise along the illuminated monuments and landmarks. This is perhaps the most magnificent way to view the monuments, Kennedy Center and the other grand structures that create the capital’s impressive skyline. The reflections off the water are an unforgettable sight for tourists and locals alike. These cruises take place on a modern sightseeing boat, which has panoramic windows, indoor and outdoor decks, carpeting, air-conditioning and bathrooms.
