We ate at the terrace restaurant which is always a treat. There is another self serve restaurant at the terrace level which is quite nice as well. Both are aware that you are trying to get to a show so the service is geared to making sure you get out in time.

The weather was light rain, but mild. I wore a sweater, dress shirt & tie with dress pants and shoes. Saw other people dressed casual and some really dressy. Broad selection.

We loved the Washington Opera performance of Nabucco. The music is so beautiful - and the chorus is so powerful. Midgette (Post critic) didn't like the staging of a play within a play. What we saw was a group of 19th Century aristocrats watching...continued

the music and singing, especially Nabucco, were very good. My only complaint is that the surtitles were nearly unreadable.
