Delightful mix of professional Christmas songs and audience participation. The NSO was wonderful and the DC Choir added to the occassion. New artists were on display; it was hard to believe that this much talent was in those so young. The life-size fantasy characters such as Raggedy Ann and Andy dancing on stage added to the celebration. Hamlisch is an excellent conductor with a great sense of humor and his questioning small children about their Christmas wishes was an extra bonus.

The John F.
